Two bass music powerhouses have teamed up, and they’re back again with an explosive remix. Zeds Dead and Subtronics unleashed their remix of Atmosphere’s GodLovesUgly just a few months after their first project together.
After Bumpy Teeth‘s popularity soared on the We Are Deadbeats Vol 4 compilation album, it was only a matter of time for their next collaboration. Now five months later, the Zeds Dead and Subtronics forces have delivered. An amalgamation of dubstep and riddim dosed with hip-hop, the track showcases both of the artists’ sounds. Listen to GodLovesUgly below.
Rumors began swirling of a potential remix after Subtronics tweeted his dream lineup which included Atmosphere. The Tweet caught the eye of Zeds Dead, who suggested they do a remix of GodLovesUgly. After they received a blessing from the legendary hip-hop producer Atmosphere himself, the rest is history.
Ok it’s on now haha

Although a sneak peek of the track debuted earlier this year, there was no official release date. Tensions peaked to hear it as Subtronics tested it out just one month after announcing the collaboration. When Zeds Dead tossed it into an absolutely bonkers set for the EDC Las Vegas virtual rave-a-thon the wait became torturous. Finally after months of waiting, they confirmed its release this week. If Bumpy Teeth and now their GodLovesUgly remix indicate what they’re capable of together, we’ll just keep biding time for their next.
