Apashe beautifully blends the power of heavy bass with the cinematic grandeur of orchestral music. The Montreal-based producer moved beyond the EDM scene when he began landing Hollywood gigs. Apashe’s most recent album, Renaissance, takes listeners on an intense journey of beats and big sounds.
Bringing together classical, electronic, hip-hop, and dance components demonstrates Apashe’s true Renaissance Man skills. The album lives up to its bold name, delivering dramatic twists and turns around every corner.
The cinematographer for Apashe’s recent music videos captured beautiful behind the scenes footage as the album came together. Next, he turned that footage into a seven minute mini documentary. Now, fans can now enjoy a behind the scenes look of what Apashe describes as a “life changing” experience.
Opening in Prague, we see the young man himself sitting wide-eyed in the famous Dvořák Hall. Violin, viola, and cello players sit at attention, geared up with headphones and mics. Right away, Apashe’s nervous energy feels palpable.

The film captures the life that each musician breathes into the music. Additionally, it juxtaposes the majestic hall with energetic footage from raves. Because of this, we understand how Apashe brings two completely different worlds together.
Being in the room, in that case the Dvořák Hall, in Prague, and hearing the orchestra playing your compositions, it was something I’d never felt before. It just went beyond beats.
