In a time where ID’s and unreleased songs are being hunted and discovered non-stop, one producer has never bought into the ID game. For whatever reason, Porter Robinson prefers to perform the first play of his new music after the track is released.
Big name producers like Above & Beyond, Bassnectar, and Excision prefer the opposite. As a result ,Porter Robinson still hasn’t gotten the first play on Get Your Wish or Something Comforting.

We feel the same, Porter. We know we will see him on stage again. The thought of it is life-giving. Perhaps Robinson’s original plan was to wait until Second Sky Music festival to perform these new songs. Keep in mind that he didn’t play any of the tracks from Worlds until one month after it’s full release.
Where have his album plans for Nurture gone? We know producers like Kaskade have completely scrapped their album schedules in favor of new ones. Robinson is typically very quiet on private matters. We don’t know what his plan is, but we have confidence.
Have you been paying attention to the online concert streams? Robinson has decided to not participate in the fad. He is still streaming though, just not music. Robinson has been streaming Half Life Alyx on Oculus, a Virtual Reality survival game.

We can’t wait, Porter, but we will wait as long as we have to. You have supplied us with hours of live sets and so much detail-orientated music from both of your projects. It will be worth the wait.
