Supporting new music and merch is more important than ever

The quietest time for musicians in the electronic music industry is typically in January and February. But even in late winter, there are still shows almost every week. Now things are different.

Without live shows electronic producers have lost half their income. Yes, many big name artists will be able to survive off music sales alone, but how will mid-level and up-and-comers handle the transition?

The time to support your favorite musicians’ music is right now. Go out and buy albums, or stream your favorite six times. Finding merch is easy. Just Google some of your favorite producers, both top-tier and newer talents.

It doesn’t matter what their status is in the electronic community. Show your favorite artists that you still care about them. Music is so important right now. We owe it to them! They are helping us with their music. The least we can do is help them.

What artist merchandise have you been supporting? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter!
