Alison Wonderland, the Sydney-born, Los Angeles-based DJ/producer, thrilled fans last year with her biggest headlining event ever: Temple of Wonderland. Headlining the mythical Red Rocks stage with “special guests” Ekali, Medasin, and Wuki, the show was an undeniable success. If you missed it, don’t worry. There’s a new way to go back in time and experience the magic for yourself!
Scheduled for a return to Red Rocks in September of 2020, Temple of Wonderland will, hopefully, become an annual treat. Whether or not the show will go on this year remains unknown though. Unfortunately, many of Alison’s 2020 shows have already been canceled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Recognizing the impact of widespread cancelations, Alison wanted to give fans something to enjoy in the meantime.
“Virtual Concerts” have been happening for some time now. From Marshmello’s infamous Fortnite set, to Galantis’ recent Virtual Reality (VR) live show, electronic artists are now connecting with fans remotely. Alison Wonderland recognized this trend and got on board.
Back in 2019, her crew recorded Temple of Wonderland in 360 video. Now available online as a 4K VR viewing experience, we love this creative way of keeping the spirit of live shows alive during worldwide quarantines. Check it out below!
