Coronavirus continues to have a significant impact on entertainment and travel industries as governments around the world continue to expand on bans on public gatherings or make the decision to close their borders to prevent the spread of the highly contagious virus.
Most music festivals and events stated, right up until the very last moment (or in some cases week of), that they were continuing as scheduled and would continue to provide updates and monitor the situation. There’s no doubt given the amount of online backlash that these kind of last-minute announcements when people have spent hundreds if not thousands on travel and accommodation have left attendees and promoters everywhere aggravated, worried and inevitably angry.
But regardless of the frustration that continues to circulate online, DMNW emphasizes that safety of individuals and the collective should ultimately be the utmost concern of the world at this point in time.

It’s completely understandable that mass gatherings like this are being preemptively halted, given that COVID-19 is spread by humans in close proximity to each other. Just how much it will continue to affect the American live music community is really an unknown outcome at this point, but we will continue to update this list with the latest information. Stay safe, wash your hands frequently, and take care of each other out there fam.
