At one point during Louis the Child’s show in Dallas the lasers sliced right through their bodies. Freddy and Robby headlined right before Bassnectar closed out the weekend. The Here For Now Tour was the first time Louis the Child has incorporated piano, electronic drums, and singing into their show.
One of the most uplifting moments was a speech from Robby about Here For Now. Robby followed the direction of living in the moment. He explained that the album they are working on is about living every experience to the fullest. Louis the Child’s goal is to inspire listeners to be their happiest.
Their show featured the original drops from Better Not, and Chance The Rapper’s All Night (Louis The Child Remix). Until they unleashed live edits of classics such as Strange, Weekend, Fire, and Love is Alive. Yes, Louis the Child showcased never before released remixes of their classic anthems.
Attendees around us were comparing the experience to the high level of masterminds like Odesza and Zhu. Louis the Child successfully created and directed the energy of the crowd. Fans at Lights All Night in Dallas were completely mesmerized by the experience.
Louis the Child’s 2019 18 stop Here For Now tour was just a teaser. The duo is gearing up for a full-on album release. This was simply band practice. To see if they could actually incorporate a live segment into their show. We believe this experiment was a success. Now we patiently wait for the Here For Now album to be completed.
