Rezz at the Portland Expo Center was a record-setting moment for Red Cube Events. Rezz visited on Friday, December 20. It was the first time an event of this size was allowed for Red Cube Events in 7 years. The last time Red Cube hosted an event that large was in 2012.

Red Cube wasn’t the only one to risk their reputation. Portland’s entire rave scene was given a try-out. It was on us to show the city of Portland why we would bleed for our electronic music community; why we sacrifice so much.
How did the electronic community do? The sold-out event didn’t feel overcrowded. We had plenty of room to maneuver through the crowd for bathrooms and water. Volunteers navigated the crowd making sure everyone was feeling happy and healthy. The Portland electronic music community succeeded. We got home safe.

The success of Rezz opens the door to many future opportunities for Red Cube. The company can now host events at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, The Moda Center (Rose Garden) and The Portland Expo Center. Will they host indoor music festivals? Larger single shows? These are all possibilities.
