Deadmau5 cube v3 stuns all in Seattle stop (DMNW Review)

Dance music legend, Deadmau5 brought his cubev3 to Seattle on a rainy Thursday night. With a cult following, the fans packed the WAMU theatre. We were able to attend the show and capture some moments in case you did not make it to the show.

Music

The two openers for the show were Quion and MSTRKRFT. Both bumping up the energy in the room, little by little. MSTRKRFT played a set that got everyone on their feet. The crowd patiently waited for Deadmau5. Cheers rushed across the room, the second he started. He played new music that fans have only heard maybe once or twice. He also played crowd favorites such as Ghost N Stuff. He also brought out LIGHTS during the show for vocals. Great performance by Deadmau5, he played a set that appealed to all, the newbie and OG Deadmau5 fans.

Production

Mind-blowing. The Cubev3 was better than everyone’s expectations. The cube rotated 360 degrees, it was moving throughout the show. The cube was showing Deadmau5 during some tracks and hiding him behind during others. The size of the cube was also massive. On top of that, the visuals on the cube and the lighting design blew it out of the water. If you have seen Deadmau5 before and have seen him live, this cannot even compare to the others.

Overall

If you have not seen cubev3, go experience. If you have seen the cubev3, go again. If you went to show not knowing much about Deadmau5, you 100% left the show as a fan. That is how amazing the experience of the show was. If you missed the show in Seattle and want to experience cubev3, you still have time. There are still shows left on this tour, check them out here
