It’s only September but multiple NYE events have already been scheduled. Shows on New Year’s Eve are special because there is something to celebrate. For many, we are celebrating new opportunities and a new year.
Lights All Night:
The staff from Lights All Night were the first to announce a full NYE Lineup. Their roster featuring Skrillex, Bassnectar, Virtual Self, and Louis The Child was announced on August 20.
The main appeal of this Dallas, Texas lineup is the genre diversity. We notice bass kings such as Zomboy, Herobust, and Liquid Stranger. On the other side of the coin are 3lau, Elephante, Manila Killa and San Holo who have perfected the art of feel-good music. We love the combination of exciting headliners and genre balance. Lights All Night is taking place on Friday, December 27 and Saturday, December 28.

Snowglobe Music Festival:
Closer to home is the iconic Snowglobe Music Festival in Lake Tahoe, California. Snowglobe announced their lineup on September 17. The main appeal of Snowglobe is that Skrillex is confirmed to be performing the ball-drop. Big Gigantic and Nghtmre are also going back to back among 4 other headliners.
Aside from their headliner’s, Snowglobe has become known for the heavy-hitting new talent that they seek out every year. People all over the music community research Snowglobe’s lineup to find the newest music producers. Midnight Kids, SG Lewis, Kah-Lo, and Anomalie are all worth checking out.
Snowglobe is trying their hardest to keep the event actually on NYE, as a result, 2019’s event starts on Sunday and ends on Tuesday. Everyone needs to check out Snowglobe Music Festival at least once.

Resolution and Artist Headline Performances:
Or maybe you will be attending NYE at home in the Pacific NW? Resolution Music Festival at the Wamu Theater is a standing tradition. In 2018 USC Events released the lineup on December 5. For this year’s edition, you should expect ticket information to become available soon.

There are also multiple headliners’ performing shows from artists that you could check out on Tuesday, December 31. Kaskade and Above & Beyond have confirmed headline shows in New York City. While Bassnectar has once again confirmed his NYE celebration in the South, this year he will be in Kentucky!
