Hakkasan Nightclub, Located in the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, has just installed a new light show unlike any other. The Hakkasan Grid, a multimillion-dollar, custom-built kinetic light installation contains 57, 4-foot seamless and sculptural triangles that combine to form a 30-foot display. It is in fact the largest permanent kinetic light installation in the United States.
Thus, Hakkasan’s incredible grid is the only structure of it’s kind. Custom-designed and 3D-printed, each triangle is made with premium materials from the brand Kinetic Lights. The grid has the ability to reshape and recolor itself in sync with live music due to custom software. The executive VP of Entertainment of Hakkasan Group, James Algate speaks more on the piece:
“The nightlife industry requires constant evolution and excellence, and we pride ourselves on consistently rising to this challenge and providing our guests with unforgettable, transformative experiences. We’re thrilled to yet again push the boundaries of nightlife with the new Hakkasan Grid. We’re confident that guests will be blown away by this futuristic, multisensory experience we’ve created.”
The installation performs light shows like you’ve never seen before; experience the grid alongside performances by Tiësto, Zedd, Steve Aoki and more.
