Breathtaking Hard Summer lineup features insane b2b combos

Headliners for Hard Summer 2019 are here, and we’re exciting to annouce Zhu b2b Tchami, Excision b2b Nghtmre, RL Grime, Dillon Francis, Claude Vonstroke and Alison Wonderland.

The last time Zhu and Tchami went back to back was a daytime pool party on Holy Ship in January of 2019. Their set was in the middle of the day, so it was more melodic and uplifting than their usual dark room shows.

Be warned. Zhu and Tchami’s headline b2b at Hard Summer won’t be the same as Holy Ship. Presumably their set will begin during nighttime. Both of these house music superstars will be in their natural element: darkness. Zhu and Tchami are scheduled for Sunday, August 4, but what’s going down on Saturday, August 3?

The headlining back to back for the first day of Hard Summer is Excision and NGHTMRE. Remember Excision b2b NGHTMRE at the Gorge Amphitheater last August? Bass Canyon 2018 ring any bells? In that performance Excision gave creative control to NGHTMRE. His goal was to promote NGHTMRE’s career and music. Will the same thing happen at Hard Summer 2019? Or will we see a more traditional back to back?

Saturday is a bass and trap lineup while Sunday has a great deal of house music. On Saturday catch headliners Excision b2b NGHTMRE, Alison Wonderland, Dillon Francis, and What So Not. Sunday is Zhu b2b Tchami, Claude Vonstroke, Duke Dumont and Anna Lunoe.

Even though Sunday is for house music, the promoters did not want the schedule to feel stale. So a small amount of bass artists have been slotted for the second day. RL Grime, Kayzo, and Flux Pavilion b2b Netsky will be playing on Sunday too. Rappers Kid Cudi and Juice Wrld have also been booked for the festival. Hard Summer is unique because they feature headliners from hip hop, bass, and house music. Surprise! note that the bottom of the Saturday lineup features a surprise back to back.
