BC-born and bred bass music heavyweight Excision will be making a triumphant return to Shambhala Music Festival this August. The announcement came from Shambhala’s Facebook page on Monday. Promising earth-shattering bass upon his 11th appearance at SMF. We are delighted to see The Village superstar bring his distinctive sound of harsh dubstep and excellent production back to us. Headbangers will surely congregate at the set and we will be treated to one of his legendary ear-and-eye melting sets.
Excision has not made an appearance at Shambhala since 2017. Over the past couple years he’s tried his hand at into hosting his own festival and continuing to work on his craft and is appearing on Vancouver’s Stacked lineup this April.
Emerging relatively unscathed from frequent collaborator and former friend Datsik’s scandal and several issues with his Lost Lands festival, he will be playing Shambhala on a roster that also includes British DnB superstars Chase and Status, Griz, Nero, Rusko and, surprisingly, house legend Kaskade to name but a few.
