In the past week and a half, not one, but TWO Shambhala headliners have been dropped down the pipe, and they’re absolutely magnificent.
First up is Chase and Status, one of the most successful electronic acts of the past decade. Chase & Status are no strangers to the music festival circuit. This will be their first time playing at Shambhala Music Festival, however, and we’re so excited!
Chase & Status have already dropped three singles from the unreleased album, including tracks Retreat, Heated and Big Man Skank VIP ft. Mr Vegas. The album marks 15 years since they first started releasing music and touring. With this momentous moment in mind, Chase & Status’s new music shows a return to their roots with Jungle music. Chase & Status will be bringing their new music to The Village Stage stage at the Salmo River Ranch for the 22nd Annual Shambhala Music Festival, running from August 9-12, 2019.
Next, we have TROYBOI! This trap don has already shown himself worthy at Shambhala previously, and he will be returning to the ranch to showcase his versatile, and unique, sounds.
Troy Henry, the elusive producer behind the TroyBoi brand, began making music in his kitchen on his MacBook. Since then, he has taken the electronic music genre by storm with his unique blend of electronic, trap, hip-hop, and R&B beats. Responsible for trap-bangers such as ‘Soundclash’ and ‘O.G’, TroyBoi has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in dance music including Diplo and Flosstradamus. TroyBoi will be bringing a wide range of unique, versatile trap beats from his most recent album V!BEZ, Vol. 2 , as well as some of his cult favourites, to his set at Shambhala Music Festival.
