Excision Announces Dates, Tickets for Bass Canyon

Excision is one of the most storied artists out of British Columbia, no doubt about that. From humble beginnings in Kelowna, to turning heads as a resident DJ at Shambhala Music Festival’s Village Stage, to selling out arenas with his full-scale, face-numbing production shows, Jeff Abel continues to elevate his game.

His Shambhala mixes are widely regarded for helping the meteoric rise of the festivals name in recent years, being shared thousands of times and making him the obvious successor for the festival’s next true success story (the first, of course, being the don: Bassnectar).

Not stopping at any of this, Excision returns this year to once again present two festival experiences to delight the headbanger that lies deep within of us: Lost Lands, and Bass Canyon! This week, he dropped the dates to book off work, and mark on your calendars, while releasing tickets for the latter.

Both festivals will, of course, feature sets from the boss man himself: Excision. Joining X are a ton of his close friends, and amazing international headliners. In the past, Lost Lands has hosted such legendary acts as Jauz, Slander, and Nero. Bass Canyon, which debuted last Summer, has played host to the incredible Dion Timmer, Protohype, and even the dubstep legend himself, Rusko.

Bass Canyon tickets are on sale now on their website, so get them quick while they’re cheap! More info is still to come about both festivals. We’re waiting at the edge of our seats!

Who do you think we’ll see on the Bass Canyon and Lost Lands lineups this year? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter!
