On the topic of Excision, the production values and unadulterated bass he features on his tour are second to none. His Executioner setup ran through Seattle in consecutive years, boasting 150,000 watts of PK bass (essentially the sound equivalent of standing right next to jet engine). With a visual display created by the minds behind Skrillex’ world-famous spaceship, the Destroid frontman has been a full-on bass music experience in and of himself.
It’s not just Excision who’s made a touring stages a huge part of live shows. Figure’s made a habit of bringing his Terror Vision visuals with him everywhere he goes, Datsik has made frequent use of his Vortex stage, the Glitch Mob’s Blade setup absolutely blew minds when it made the rounds in 2014, and Excision even unveiled a second stage in the Paradox this last year.
