Held in the woods of British Columbia, Shambhala features a host of bass music talent to rival any festival in the world. And with Excision’s Shambhala mix becoming a yearly event, it’s grown to epic proportions in terms of the artists it draws. This year’s iteration even hit its fastest sellout in the festival’s history. Thanks in large part to word-of-mouth and a constantly expanding demand, Shambhala has become the home for only the most innovative and exciting realms of the genre.
Of course there’s something for everybody once you set foot on the Farm, but for bassheads, the Village stage is home. Run by PK Sound CEO Jeremy Bridge, it’s a paradise for fans of the low-end. The stage features massive stacks of high-end PK subs, and delivers a finely-tuned and unequaled quality of bass to its intimate audience.
