5. PK Sound

Oh sweet, sweet PK Sound, you certainly make our ears and hearts happy. Each stage at Bass Coast is powered by the PK Sound and fully emerges you into the music. Even those who don’t consider themselves an audiophile while after experiencing a set from PK. The fine folks at PK found their roots at Shambhala and have been building speakers for over 10 years that have been shaking the ground since. Certainly PK Sound is tailor made for bass music, which makes them a perfect fit at Bass Coast. You’ll swear you’ve never heard music until hearing it from PK…and we promise it’ll leave you begging for more.

6. Intimacy

“We cap ticket sales so you have room on the dance floor” is something the folks at Bass Coast have been saying for sometime now. The idea isn’t to pack as many people into a stage as possible. It’s to pack the perfect amount of likeminded, music loving, beautiful people into one place. At only 3500 people Bass Coast is relatively small in terms of attendees, but larger than life on the dance floor. Keeping to such a small size truly allows the free spirit to roam here. It certainly has a family vibe going for itself sure to bring out the best in all.

Certainly there are more than these six reasons to hop on the Bass Coast train this year but we’ll leave it to you to discover those. Tickets are currently on sale for $239CAD ($175USD) and will likely sell out. No official announcement has been made about their lineup, but we’re expecting a first round release very soon. Bass Coast begins July 8th, with early entry on the 7th for an additional $35CAD. Stay tuned for additional news updates and lineup releases and look forward to seeing your smiling faces on the dance floor!
