Basslights
Basslights, the result of the combined forces of dance music demigods Bassnectar and Pretty Lights, is a thing. That thing should be in the Northwest. Combining forces for four years now, Basslights brings together two of the world’s top artists and showmen in dance music today. Yes, both Bassnectar and Pretty Lights have performed in the Northwest relatively recently, with Bassnectar headlining Paradiso 2014 and Pretty Lights coming through a few times in 2013. But, we don’t doubt the ability of this collaboration to bring a genuinely unique experience to the table . Plus, we’re pretty sure that Basslights is exactly what venues like the Gorge were made for.

NERO
British bass-trio NERO has been one of the most intriguing acts of 2014. They released their latest original Satisfy earlier this year, ahead of their album, which is expected to be released in 2014. They’ve recently announced that another single should be released soon, but nobody knows when that will happen. They were last in the Northwest performing a DJ set at Bass Odyssey in Portland on New Years Eve 2012, and before that they headlined Resolution 2012 at the WaMu Theater in Seattle. Since those shows, they’ve toured North America, Europe, Asia, and more. They’re one of the top bass acts in dance music today, and between the excitement of their upcoming album and a return to the Northwest, the event would surely be a sell-out.
