Sometimes, it’s the simple decisions that are the right ones, and including Luciano on our list of ‘must see artists’ is one of those times. DJing since he was a teenager in Chile in the late-90s, the Swiss-born tech house mainstay has performed around the globe for years. The Ibiza-regular has been vastly influential in the growth and livelihood of dance music overseas, and we’re more than ready to get a taste of our own. FreakNight 2015 will be his first Northwest performance in more than a minute, and missing out on what could be his last for a while isn’t a mistake any attendee should make.
[divider]SKisM B2B LAXX[/divider]
Northwest bass-heads are still recuperating from Safe In Sound’s most recent visit, but we’ll be ready for the second ever time SKisM and LAXX go B2B. The Never Say Die boss and the veteran label’s newest protege’ performed together at EDC – Las Vegas earlier this summer, but we’ll gladly take a second round, especially with PK Sound. Both artists have kept busy this year, devoting tons of time to Never Say Die’s dubstep-focused NSD: Black Label, which has consistently put out some of the best in bass throughout 2015. We know the bass-heads will be there in force, but everyone should find some time to check out the now and future of bass music at FreakNight this fall.

[divider]Mat Zo[/divider]
Whether you’re discussing his twitter-feed or his production-style, Mat Zo’s eclectic approach has always been an interesting topic. Never shy to share an opinion, or put an unimaginable spin on a tune, the London-born artist has us more than a little interested in his FreakNight 2015 set. More recently he’s discussed a new album in the works, and graced us with the best Porter Robinson remix we’ve heard in a while. Never predictable, Mat Zo’s set is the ultimate musical corn-maze, and we can’t wait for all the twists and turns during his set at FreakNight.
[divider]Tuneboy[/divider]
Making the list for not only quality, but quantity as well, Tuneboy is the lone artist for Hardstyle fans to get their fix with at FreakNight 2015. The Italian has played a huge role in the growth of hardstyle, and dance music in general, throughout his career, which began in 1995. Another rare artist worth a mention is Aussie Will Sparks, who’s the only artist at FreakNight this fall with a penchant for melbourne bounce.
[divider]Figure[/divider]
There is no-more perfect booking at FreakNight than Figure. A Northwest-regular with a pair of Paradiso performances under his belt, the festivals freakiest booking will be right at home at the Tacoma Dome. Figure’s work-history reads like dream, or nightmare, for a FreakNight set. His Monsters release-series continued with volume 6 this year, as the Indiana-native delivered more of his one-of-a-kind bass-fueled sound. He’s also responsible for producing the soundtrack for one of Universal Studio’s annual haunted mazes, something he’s done throughout his career. If FreakNight is your festival of choice for all of the freakiest reasons, Figure is your #1 do not miss set of the festival.
