What is without a doubt the biggest music festival in the PNW and BC, Squamish Valley Music Festival has expanded at such a quick rate since its inception in 2010 it has been impossible to ignore. Having grown into one of the most well known festivals in North America, it’s no surprise they shattered attendance records in 2015 with 118,000 attendees. Nestled in a scenic valley located about halfway between Vancouver and Whistler, Squamish has consistently attracted the biggest names in the music industry to this coastal community and shows no signs of slowing down soon.
If you want big names on big stages, this is where you’ll want to be. Unfortunately, Squamish coincides with the legend that is Shambhala; and while most of us wouldn’t ever dream of missing Sham, sometimes there’s just no way of avoiding it. So if you find yourself unable to attend the Salmo River Ranch, or if you just need a change of pace, then make your way to the Squamish Valley. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
