[divider]1. THE GREETING[/divider]
Peeking our heads anxiously around the corner of the door, we were instantly greeted with with a warm “Hi! I’m JES,” followed by a sincere hug (nothing in this get-together was half done). JES broke the ice right away asking where we were from, trying to get to know us. What we noticed instantly about JES was how endlessly thankful for her fans she was, and for the opportunity to interact with them.
I feel like my fans are my friends. The way social media is, these days you really can talk to them [fans] all the time too. On Facebook, a lot of the time I’ll go on and answer everybody. On Twitter I like to direct message people back too.
Doing as much as JES does in writing, singing, producing, DJing and running her own radio show, it was astounding to learn she also takes the time to personally manage her own social media pages. Wondering exactly how JES is able to balance everything she is doing, it was interesting to learn she loves each aspect of it. She loves writing, singing, producing, DJing and doing her new radio show Unleash The Beat, even if she is “running around like a crazy girl” a good portion of the time.
