Every year the decisions on whether or not to attend one festival or another plagues ravers. Generally constrained by location, budget, and availability, we have to rely on local promoters and event production companies for the bulk of shows we’re able to attend. Luckily, we’re blessed with an amazing local dance music community and have event companies willing to do the work to bring quality artists here on a consistent basis.
But, every festival is different, and each year decisions and desires concerning artists, genres, and venues change. So, we decided to take a look at Lucky 2015 and how it stacks up with recent Northwest massives put on by USC Events, and other festivals happening around St. Patrick’s Day throughout the country. The lineups from the likes of FreakNight and Paradiso speak for themselves, but often it’s shows like Lucky that cement our love for dance music.
From historical genre trends to recent artist visits, we broke down the Lucky 2015 lineup and found a few interesting stats and facts for you to take into account when making your game-plan for Lucky this year. You can purchase tickets to Lucky 2015 here and join the official Facebook event page here.
Note: Local support and Northwest favorites were not accounted for when compiling this information. The information concerning Lucky lineups is from 2012-2015.
