[divider]He Cares About the Scene[/divider]
It is no coincidence that an artist who appreciates his fans and works as hard as Page also cares about the dance music scene and community. Page said that the growth and movement towards the mainstream for dance music is positive for the most part, considering drug issues at festivals are nothing new. Page touched on the consolidation of companies within the economically-booming dance music scene and the importance of personal responsibility as areas that deserve attention.
The scary part is the consolidation. Companies are swallowing up these democratic platforms like Soundcloud and just cashing out. It’s only the beginning… [When it comes to drugs] I think people need to realize they have a choice. Nobody is forcing them to take drugs. Drug testing kits were a great idea, but nothing is 100% safe. Crowd control and safety are also always really important.
