“I think trance is on the rise, that is why I am putting in the work with Seattle Trance Alliance, and got the underground started. The trance shows at foundation earlier this year with Jordan Suckly which was near sell out, & Aly & Fila which sold out in advance were both amazing. Strangely there were no more shows like that being booked. Long before Foundation was on the scene I was the main club promoter for Trance. I hosted events at Last Supper Club, Level 5, Trinity, Cirque Event Center, Heavens, Noise Lab & Volume bringing many trance artists to Seattle for the first time.

I am continually contacted by many artist’s management with upcoming available dates. I decided to pick up where I left off and that is how Seattle Trance Alliance was formed. I was hearing so many people express frustration by what was being booked, the lack of quality trance shows, all while the few shows that were coming were doing extremely well. So I took matters into my own hands. I got Alex Morph for Valentines weekend and booked him at the venue that it all started for me, Last Supper Club (now called Box House) and the show was a smashing success.

Sadly, the owners had a format change for the upstairs on Friday so that would be the only event we could do. Since it did well, and the enthusiasm was there I decided to take over the downstairs room, update it with a new stage, LED wall, new lighting, and take things back to a smaller more intimate venue that we could control. Now we have had Jorn Van Deynhoven 3/19 as the soft opening, followed by Heatbeat 3/26. We just announced shows with Solarstone 4/22, Will Atkinson 5/20 Jerome Isma-ae 5/27 and are about to announce Roger Shah for July. So my plan is to book all the artists that are too small for the other clubs, put on quality events with quality artists for people who really care about trance music.

What we need to sustain and grown the trance scene is support. People buying tickets, people coming out to the events we do have, and people trying to introduce new people to this music. If you are a fan of trance, and want to see it grown in Seattle…. #JOINTHEALLIANCE like our page, https://www.facebook.com/SeattleTranceAlliance/ Seattle Trance Alliance is for people who love trance, by people who love trance. As long as people come and support the nights, I will keep booking them.”
