Croatian Cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, better known as 2CELLOS, have released the latest tune off of their upcoming album. Wowing us once again, the guys put together an energetic cover of Avicii’s 2013 mega-hit Wake Me Up, and even coupled it with a entertaining music video travelling through time with 2CELLOS. The duo burst into the limelight after uploading their cover of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal in 2011, tallying millions of views in just a few days.
Wake Me Up is the sixth song that has been released off of the duo’s upcoming album, entitled Celloverse. It is currently available for pre-order and will be released on January 27th via iTunes. It is 2CELLOS third album and features 13 songs, ranging from AC/DC’s Thunderstruck to I Will Wait from Mumford & Sons. The duo’s talent and imagination is as impressive as it is entertaining and we can’t wait to see what the rest of Celloverse has in store.
