We can not tell you how important it is to check your car before traveling to the Gorge. It’s roughly 150 miles from Seattle, so you’re going to want to check the important stuff just in case! We’ve gone many years where friends had to jump our car!
✓Check fluids, tire pressure, belts, lights, battery voltage, etc. Do this before
and after arrival, and before and after departure.
✓Change your oil and air filters If possible schedule a checkup
with your mechanic a week or two before the festival.
✓Bring jumper cables and basic tools For your own sake and to lend
to a neighbor in need.
✓Block out the windows Or use the trunk if you’re storing your cooler
or heat sensitive food in the car.
✓Keys Deal with the keys in a way that doesn’t involve bringing them into
the venue where they have a better chance of being lost.
✓Lock up Everything you don’t want to lose – in the car, out of sight,
while in-venue and overnight.
