Gem and Jam Festival is an annual gathering that takes place in the midst of the world-renowned Tucson Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Showcase. Gem & Jam originally began as an afterparty for the Gem Show, but with an expected attendance of 55,000 during the three-week showcase, it’s obvious why this gathering has become such a standalone success.
With attractions calling travelers from far & wide, expect this to be one for the books. Whether you’re looking to soak up the desert sunshine, trade precious minerals, interact in self-developing workshops or shake your booty to some of the best electronic acts and jam bands in the music scene, Gem & Jam has you covered! Their jaw-dropping lineup features several of our favorite acts too, including Gramatik, G Jones, Thriftworks, The Motet, Dimond Saints, and HÄANA to name a few!
The action doesn’t stop there either. Gem & Jam will be packed to the brim with stylish vendors, high-end art galleries, live painting, and exceptional visual performances.

Gem & Jam Festival is thriving, and this year they have changed locations to the Pima County Fairgrounds located in Tucson, Arizona. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
For the first time in 11 years, on-site camping will be provided in order to create a truly immersive experience. The options available include Boutique Camping, Walk-In Camping, and RV Camping. Shuttle buses will be frequently available and provide transportation between the festival grounds and gem show to ensure no rockhounds or crystal enthusiasts are left behind.
