With the recent threat of banning electronic dance music festivals at Exhibition Place in Downtown Toronto, it is nice to know the festival(s) will go on with certaintly due to the proposal being denied. Although the ban was just for one venue, it would be unlikely a festival this big would be in jeopardy. North By Northeast (NXNE) is much more than just a music festival. This event is filled with music, film, comedy, artwork and much more that takes over the majority of Downtown Toronto. In the past 19 year NXNE has seen over 1,000 music performers and and an overall attendance of 350,000 people. This years NXNE festival will feature artist from all over Canada and the United States. St. Juicy J, A$AP, Ferg, Chalk and Numbers, Ryan Hemsworth, Mad Ones, and Swearin’ are just a few of the many artists that will be seeing the stage at NXNE’s arts festival this year.
Ticket prices that are strictly for the days filled with music (5 days) will range from $75-$149, depending how early you were able to snag a pair.
