[divider]It Feels – NERVO[/divider]
Performing at the Ultra Music Festival mainstage in 2010, Australian duo NERVO are made for the spotlight. Their impressive list of songwriting credentials and reputation of their live performances speak for themselves, and it’s no surprise that they’ve released a song that we fully expect to be hearing all summer in It Feels. The tune screams NERVO and begs to be part of every progressive house set from Tomorrowland to EDC.
[divider]Blame – Calvin Harris[/divider]
Calvin Harris, the King of EDM, has plenty of tunes to pick from for a list such as this, but we went with the massively popular Blame. His accolades from the dance music community, his earnings, and sheer number of hits point to just how popular Harris’ tunes are. The success of 2012’s 18 Months is absolutely absurd, and the only artist who could possibly follow that up without disappointing is Calvin Freaking Harris. His hits are staples of sets at mainstages year-after-year, and 2015 will be no different, in large part because of Blame.
[divider]The Thrill – NERO[/divider]
Building anticipation greater than any other act around, NERO’s release of The Thrill comes right in time for festival season. Returning to their anthemic sound that put them on the map with hits like Promises and Reaching Out, The Thrill is the perfect track to get us more excited for the trio’s upcoming album than we ever thought possible. Following up 2014’s Satisfy, The Thrill is the latest sign of the album, details of which are unknown, but is said to be completed and awaiting release. We’re glad we have some new NERO in 2015, but we’re hoping for more, and maybe even a Northwest visit from the British group later this year.
