The Pacific Northwest is gorgeous, but it’s no secret it can get downright cold during the winter months. For us dance music lovers, we typically long for the hot, bright days of summer that bring festivals with them. Since we can’t change the weather or speed up time, we’ve got to keep warm somehow. If you’re missing summer or just want to feel a little warmer while you’re actually freezing, here are ten tracks we hope will help.

1. Show Me Love – Sam Feldt ft. Kimberly Anne
Sam Feldt is no stranger to covering songs with his signature sun-kissed tropical house. This chilled out version of Nobody Like You will keep you warm with its abundance of layers and hushed, slightly echoed vocals. Just close your eyes and imagine you’re lounging by the pool with a mojito, and this song on repeat.
3. Firestone – Kygo ft. Conrad Sewell
We’d be remiss to make a sun soaked playlist without mentioning one of the kings of tropical house: Kygo. Firestone is special in that it sounds genuinely full and warm from beginning to end. It carries a signature tropical house beat, but the slightly melancholic vocal and surrounding production are just as warming. It’s perfect for a dark, cold night in cozied up by the fire.
4. Someday I’ll Be With You – Tyzo Bloom ft. JNNA
This song’s bright and bubbly production plus the shiny, chopped vocals will have you vibing even in the coldest weather. Built on a layer of various synths, it’s sure to put a smile on your face and make you temporarily okay with the fact it’s dark at 4:30 p.m.

This track’s laidback tempo and warm synths are the perfect backdrop to a cold night. The layers are rich, and the vocal samples are straightforward and relaxing. If you’re out in the cold trekking your way to holiday festivities, this is the perfect song to keep you warm on your journey.
6. Drifting Away – Felix Cartel ft. Ofelia K
The hushed vocals and acoustic guitar riffs on this track create a smooth and comforting feeling. Paired with elements of tropical house and an abundance of varied samples and hits, it’s sure to keep you guessing and help you forget the frost.

Washed Out is one of the most dominant artists of chillwave and synth pop, creating songs that somehow sound like a summer day on the lake. Amor Fati touts a groovy bassline and shimmering synths all covered by layers of warming vocals.
8. Otter Pop – Shawn Wasabi ft. Hollis
If you’re looking to bask in a blissful denial in regards to winter weather, this is the track for you. Midi Fighter king and kawaii aficionado Shawn Wasabi will take you on an adventure of sunshine, warm breezes and waves.
