The annual early-Christmas that is the steady flow of live-sets from festivals across the world during the time known as ‘Festival Season’ is now in full swing. Following three-day mega-festival EDC in Las Vegas last weekend, there’s no shortage of live-sets from available from a wide variety of artists. In order to streamline the inevitable hours spent sorting through streams, we’ve created a list of 10 sets from EDC – Las Vegas 2014 (with some help from Skrillex) that you should make sure to take some time to check out.
Honorable Mention – Skrillex
Adding another gold star to his already great year, dubstep dynamo Skrillex (aka Sonny Moore) had to make this list, despite not attending EDC – Las Vegas this year. Instead, Skrillex made the most of the uniquely large amount of dance music fans who would be preparing to stream sets from EDC later on Saturday, June 21st and decided to live-stream his second stop of The Mothership Tour 2.0 at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colo. The show included sets from DJ Mustard, Jack Beats, Tchami, and Vindata, but it was undoubtedly Skrillex who brought a show worthy of the great venue it was performed at.
