After a year that saw his track Clarity make the rounds practically everywhere, Zedd has finally received the recognition he deserves in the form of a Grammy for ‘Best Dance Recording.’ Thanks to its stadium-sized appeal and heavy rotation on the radio, there’s virtually no way anyone has gone the last year without hearing this track. Foxes’ vocals have become universally recognized every time anyone hears the first few measures.
As dance music continues to grow, more and more artists within the industry are continuing to get their work out into the mainstream. While some may see this as an over-saturating of the music we love, others argue that the more recognition it gets the better. There’s no easy answer, but our heartfelt congratulations go out to Zedd nonetheless! Here’s to another year of amazing music.
