Whipped Cream removes Lil Xan’s verse for VIP Edit of Told Ya

Whipped Cream has a new version of her November 15 single, Told Ya. In two weeks time Lil Xan’s lyrics, although catchy, have become rather forgettable. The instrumental that Whipped Cream whipped up on Told Ya was so exceptional that Lil Xan could have said almost anything and it would have sounded good.

As a single it shows that Whipped Cream is capable of producing a heavy hip-hop beat. For her live shows, it looks like Whipped Cream doesn’t need Lil Xan’s lyrics.

Whipped Cream previewed her VIP edit on Instagram, where it appears as though she has subtracted most of Lil Xan’s verse. Much of the same instrumentation is used but the song is sped up to around 170-180 bpm. Whipped Cream delivered the punch that we all expect from a VIP remix. The original production is still there… but now it is ready for a room filled with bass-heads.

Not to mention the 23 year-old producer has another new single coming out on December 6.
