Virtual Self Premieres Unreleased Song in Los Angeles

Porter Robinson performed his first Virtual Self set of 2019 on Thursday, February 7. The start of a three-show run in Los Angeles. This visit is Porter’s way of making up for being unable to schedule an LA date during his recent Fall tour. In celebratory fashion Virtual Self premiered an unreleased song with the rumored title God Rays.

On February 7, hours before the show, Porter Robinson’s alter ego PathSelector mysteriously tweeted about the track.

In a recorded clip of the performance, the screens audibly read, “God Rays,” before a tech trance masterpiece envelopes the crowd.

The confirmation of unreleased songs on his set-list leads us to believe that new music is on the way. We are completely ready for God Rays, and future Virtual Self releases. In the meantime recap with part one of the Virtual Self EP.

Are you ready for new music from Virtual Self? What Genre would you classify God Rays?  Let us know on Facebook or Twitter!
