Our friends at Upper Left have never been shy about bringing our fair city the best the PNW has to offer in the realm of killer music. Already we’ve seen them take off with solid wins from the Dirtybird BBQ, Pet Cemetery, and ODESZA’s sold-out after-hours set at Q Nightclub. For their next event, the Upper Left Crew is going even bigger. Introducing JOULE, launched in tandem with The Good Vibe Tribe, and set to be held at the Fremont Foundry on March 26. The name itself is rooted in the unique energy brought on by the eclectic artists Upper Left has become known for featuring. As for the lineup, needless to say it’s absolutely stacked, with an incredible mix of house and bass luminaries, as well as some of our favorite local DJs. That lineup will be divided between two stages: The Ardalan stage, with Dirtybird mainstay Justin Martin, Sacha Robotti, and (of course) Ardalan, and the Magnetic Stage, headlined by bass master G Jones, and Great Dane. As for local support, well be getting a solid mix of B2Bs and standalone sets, with a list that includes Allen Oh, Drew, Ron Noble, Justin Hartinger, Levitate, and Rome. It’s a lineup that promises to continue Upper Left’s noble mission of pushing our local scene’s boundaries, one event at a time. Tickets go on here sale Friday, March 4 at noon (Note: This event will be limited to 21+). Stay tuned for more info as it comes. In the meantime, mark your calendars now; This isn’t one you’re going to want to miss. Nick Cannata-Bowman Pop culture junkie, dinosaur enthusiast, and proud Editor-in-Chief.
