Top 10 Tracks of 2013 We’ll Still be Hearing in 2014

[numblock num=”10″ style=”1″]Reviewing the year in music, of any genre, isn’t something new. Neither is creating a debatable and interesting ‘Top 10 Songs of the Year’ list. But with the pace and fervor of EDM and its community, it feels as though creating a list is needed for reasons of posterity. New teasers, tunes, and mixes are released daily, and the great ‘old’ songs are forgotten as soon as the next hit with the cool new drop is… dropped. But, a rare few tracks are known to have more longevity than others, and are heard well over a year after they are released. These are those songs. So, six months from now, when Paradiso is achingly close and remembering that awesome track from last year with ‘DA DA DA DA DA-DUN DA-DUN DA-DUN DA-DUN DA-DA-DUN’ isn’t working, refer back to this top tracks of 2013 list. (Hint: it’s Tsunami).[/numblock]

10) Stay the Night – Zedd ft. Hayley Williams (9/24/13)

WE MAY OR MAY NOT STAY THE NIGHT, GAH. Okay, after that initial reaction to Zedd’s latest hit, more listens make the inviting and powerful voice of Hayley Williams, lead singer of rock band Paramore, become less annoying and the previously unrealized beat emerges to take the lead. There’s already several remixes of the track, including versions from EDM titans such as Tiesto, Nicky Romero, and DJ Snake, but it’s Zedd’s version we’ll be hearing throughout 2014.

9) Without You – Dillon Francis ft. T.E.E.D. (8/6/13)

Not quite Masta Blasta or Dill the Noise, Without You from Dillon Francis expands outside of his moombahton-oriented roots, while still giving his faithful fans an undeniably addicting beat paired perfectly with the comforting tones of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The versatility gives us who DGAFOS plenty of hope and excitement for the upcoming album from the Mad Decent all-star, which the big man himself said is to be released sometime this spring.

8) This is what it feels Like – Armin Van Buuren ft. Trevor Guthrie (4/5/13)

Another Armin Van Buuren great that seems to never get old, and has a few great remixes (*cough* W&W *cough*), This is what it Feels Like reaches into everyone who hears it in the way that only Armin can. There are a handful of trance greats who have been known to reduce their audience to tears, but this hit off of the Grammy nominated Intense,  featuring the strong voice of Trevor Guthrie belting out the emotional lyrics us ASOT listeners love, reminds us all who the king is.

I advise you to write such kinds of posts every
day to provide the audience like me all the essential info.

In my view, it is far better to be prepared for all of the unexpected situations in advance, so thanks, it was fairly cool.
