These 7 Artists Are Winning Festival Season 2015

[divider]ODESZA[/divider]

At this point, the better question is ‘what festivals aren’t Seattle-based ODESZA playing?’. The Northwest-favorites have continued to capitalize on the success of their sophomore album, In Return, which was released in September of last year. Even with the seemingly constant rise of ODESZA, we’re not sure anyone expected this many festivals to be on tap for the summer of 2015. Having already performed at HOLY SHIP!, Buku Music & Arts Project, CRSSD Festival, SXSW, Ultra, and Coachella this year, ODESZA’s festival season is off to a busy start. It will only get busier, as the duo currently has 23 confirmed festivals on the docket from mid-May to early-September.

The duo, made up of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, will be giving the Northwest some love during their ocean-spanning summer festival tour, performing at both SASQUATCH! and What The Festival?! (*cough* with open dates around Paradiso weekend *cough*). No matter where they go, more and more people will know their name, as they continue to take advantage of all of the incredible opportunities headed their way.

Another duo with 20+ festivals lined up for the summer of 2015, Australians Knife Party will be making their way to Asia, Europe, and North America. The Paradiso 2015 headliners will also be performing at Center of Gravity in Kelowna, BC and Audio on the Bay in Northern California for fans looking for a lengthier summer festival trip. Always a hit during festival season, and one of the most popular acts in all of dance music, Knife Party have 24 festivals scheduled thus far, spanning May 5th to September 4th.

Duo Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen have performed at several festivals already this year, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few more added to their summer plans. Whether it’s Electric Zoo Tokyo, EDC New York, Creamfields, Mysteryland, or any of the other major stops on deck for the duo, we know Knife Party will be an act everyone will want to see. We’ll be in attendance at their headlining set at ‘Diso, and if you have the chance, you’ll want to catch Knife Party at one of their stops around the globe this year.
