This past weekend there was no better place to be then the Summer Meltdown music festival located in Darrington, WA. From August 7th-10th, Meltdown was filled with the most amazing vibes from daytime til’ dawn. Everywhere you looked, whether it be the artists on stage, the staff running the event or the festival attendees, there was nothing but smiles on everyone’s faces.
On Sunday morning from 1:00 – 2:00 AM, two very talented DJ’s/Producers took the stage at the well loved Dance Tent. These two bass music enthusiasts go by the name Love And Light and they produce an incredible sounding style of glitch hop. Their hour long, fun-filled set contained 100% original music, mostly from their Shift Happens‘ album. Their album dropped in June of this year and kept the crowd dancing from start to finish with ease! After such an outstanding and intimate performance at Meltdown, Love and Light expressed extreme excitement to get back in the studio via Facebook. It appears as if Love and Light will be hitting the studio hard for the next month and we can’t wait to hear some more funky tunes from this duo!
