Here in Seattle, we are blessed to have our choice of quality clubs to go to, no matter what kind of night you’re looking to have. As of August 7th & 8th we can add STAGE to that list. Opening up in the location that was formerly home to Volume, STAGE is looking to up the stakes in the Seattle nightclub scene and show you what a night out is supposed to be. Let’s be clear, though. This is not Volume re-opened. Everything from the booths to the bars, and even the stage itself have been totally rebuilt from scratch.

So far we know that STAGE will largely focus on our vast array of local talent, but will also feature occasional international acts. They will have an emphasis on the VIP experience, with 16 illuminated VIP booths and an entire VIP room you can rent out. If you’re not the bottle service type, there will be two full bars in addition to two craft cocktail bars for you to enjoy.

You love Funktion-One speakers, right? Yeah, us too. Well STAGE boasts a Turbosound system, made by the same people as the Funktion-One. So bring your earplugs and prepare yourself for festival level quality sound throughout the 10,000 square feet and two rooms. We’re also told that the LED & lighting system is supposed to be out of this world.

The music starts at 10pm and ends at 3am each night, with a truly open format. Peak hour DJs will play a mixture of EDM and hip-hop, depending on what the crowd is feeling. No pre-made sets! (NICE!) STAGE is 21+ so make sure to bring your valid ID and dress to impress. Grand opening weekend acts include Diamond Pistols, YUP, DJ Henski, Pat Nasty, and many others.

For those involved in Seattle’s nightlife industry, there is an industry soft open Thursday August 6th from 10pm to 3am. DMNW will be attending and we can’t wait to get a sneak peek as to what STAGE is all about. We’ll keep you posted!

The future of Seattle nightlife starts SOON. Will we see you there?

UPDATE: Due to a licensing delay, the opening of STAGE has been postponed and will not be opening the weekend of August 7th & 8th. We will keep you posted with more information as we receive it.
