It’s no secret that EDM and Spirithoods go together like hot dogs and cream cheese and onions. At many a festival or club night you can spot members of the tribe getting down and dirty to some delicious beats while rocking their hoods with pride. Several members of the DMNW team can attest to the glorious feeling of dancing in the hood. Fortunately the folks at Spirithoods are well aware of this, and dropped the Tribalive Podcast on Soundcloud full of delicious house that seems designed for the specific purpose of dancing in your hood and whatever version of pants (or no pants) you deem appropriate.

Whether hanging out at home mustering the motivation you need to power through some chores, getting ready to hit the town, or staring down a mountain on a board or skis this mix has you covered. With treats from Dillon Francis, Deorro, Armin van Buuren, Alesso, as well as Party Supplies and Massimo Massivi there’s something in here guaranteed to get you moving whether you have a Spirithood on or not. The Spirithoods blog indicates that there is more to come with some future special guests, and if this first podcast is any indication we’re in for a heck of a ride. As a special bonus, if you take a picture of your tribe getting down and use the #tribalive hashtag you could end up on the cover a future podcast!

Give the podcast a listen below, and let us know your favorite Spirithood to dance in on Facebook, Twitter, or in the comments below!

Lizzy has been raving since the wee age of 14 after being grounded for a month for having rave fliers in her bag. Like her other love, snowboarding, what was supposed to be "a phase" has become an essential part of her life and she is excited to see a new generation developing the same love.
