Seth Troxler: “You’re An Idiot Listening To Shitty Music”

“EDM festivals spoon-feed us bullshit – And we can’t get enough of it”, “Let’s face it, EDM DJs are the worst people ever” -Seth Troxler

Those are the lovely words of the almighty and outspoken Seth Troxler ladies and gents. He has spoken out in disgust over festivals, edm, and edm culture nowadays, and we should all take his words to heart right? Wrong. Seth may have more experience under his belt than most in today’s scene, but does that make him more knowledgeable, or just bitter because he wishes the music scene were the same as it used to be back in the day? All in all Seth had some really nasty things to say about festival goers and what the edm scene has become, going into such detail like:

So according to Troxler, festivals nowadays are about falling in the mud, and getting cake thrown at you? Hmm, you’re club counter argument smells a bit fishy, and last time we checked, Steve Aoki was the only one who throws cake, but please Seth, do go on…

Sorry EDC‘s all over the world, you didn’t make Seth Troxler’s top 10 summer festivals. You should probably just give up; pack it in, because at the end of the day, you’re just a parking lot full of kids with suckers in their mouths. And may God have mercy on your soul.

Don’t worry guys, Seth’s words do not go unanswered. DJ/ producer veteran Laidback Luke spoke his mind in a counter article shortly after.

Feel free to check out Troxler’s full article, and you’ll definitely want to read the whole bit Laidback Luke wrote in response. Go home Seth, we’re with Luke.
