The fiercely anticipated debut album Damage Control by Mat Zo just got even hotter. With another single released off the album, “Lucid Dreams” makes for the latest genre-blurring track from the forward-thinking and innovative Mat Zo. The song follows “Easy” with Porter Robinson and “Pyramid Scheme” with Chuck D. Mat Zo is almost impossible to pigeonhole. “Lucid Dreams” is a wonderful example of that. The track mixes off-the-wall bass with French house-influenced vocals all leading in to a gigantic wave of a dance-floor breakdown. The track will officially be released for download on October 22 on Anjunabeats (U.K.) and Astralwerks (U.S.) as well as a chance to pre-order Damage Control. The entire album is expected to be released November 5 on Itunes. Mat Zo will also be announcing his North American tour dates on the 31st of October.

Pyramid Scheme is the latest music video fro Mat Zo. It was directed by the boys of RAREMINK and features some serious dance moves from our grandparents. Who says there’s an age limit on shakin’ hips and booties?
