What could possibly be better than dancing with your friends to trap through Funktion One speakers? Going to that show free of charge. Fortune Sound Club’s event series Way Home has done it again, giving us head banging junkies our fix of bass and trap. We fully expect Quix to light up this show on March 30, along with killer local acts Konka & Vacuity. Quix shows mastery in the art of combining rap samples and trap, as seen in his latest release Purple Ford Falcon. This collaboration with Ian Munro makes us excited to see what the New Zealand native will bring to Vancouver, BC. This is the second leg of Quix’s international tour, and Way Home is the perfect event to flex his strengths. Over the past year, this filthy event series has worked to bring some of the biggest names in bass to Vancouver, such as Space Jesus, Stylust Beats, and Bleep Bloop. Quix fits right into this list, and we know he is going to make that stage his own. The only thing, other then you, stopping yourself from seeing this show is the sheer amount of bass heads in Vancouver, so RSVP ASAP to secure your spot. This 19+ event is not one to miss, so get your name on that list while you still can! What is your favorite Quix song? Who else do you want to see featured at a Way Home event? Leave your answers in the comments below! Lauren Taylor Just a girl who surrounds herself in all things bass. From Dnb to experimental trap to bassline, if it has the vibrations she’s dancing to it. Though she had her “raving” start in the underground music scene of Seattle, more recently Lauren can be found flailing her body at clubs in Vancouver, BC and all ages venues throughout the Northwest.
