Haywyre

Haywyre, he’s so hot right now, Haywyre. Also known as Martin Vogt, Haywyre is the name on everybody’s lips and his tunes are finding their way into sets at festivals across the world. Breaking out last year, 2015 has been nothing but more success for the Indiana-native. Beginning his career in 2008, Haywyre has utilized his more than a decade of experience on the piano and has perfectly coupled it with his touch for sound engineering. This year featured his first solo tour, and he has plenty on the docket for festival season, adding Summer Set, North Coast Festival, and Electric Forest to his plans for the summer. He’s also performing at the Official Paradiso Pre-Party on Wednesday, June 24th at Foundation Nightclub. We’re beyond pumped for Paradiso to be included on the list, and we’ll be arriving early for Haywyre’s set at The Gorge.

Jack Beats

British duo Jack Beats are always a treat to catch live, and they’ll always be welcome in the Northwest. They performed alongside Ummet Ozcan on Valentine’s Day at the Showbox SoDo earlier this year, and with The Gorge as the backdrop, we’re ready to show them the love all over again. They’ll also be performing at Pemberton Music Festival in Pemberton, BC later this summer, and we’re hoping this Northwest festival thing becomes a regular occurrence for Jack Beats. They’ve been around for more than a minute, releasing their first EP in 2006, and working with OWSLA since 2012. A fan-favorite that’ll show what true DJing is all about, Jack Beats is a Paradiso treat that you should enjoy this summer.

Kayliox

Based out of Quebec, duo Kayliox are riding the massive wave of bass house flooding dance music. The oldest releases on their soundcloud date back about a year, and they’ve gained a lot of fans and listeners in that short time. They have releases on major labels such as Ultra, Sony, and Dim Mak, while their tunes have found themselves throughout various future/deep/bass/whatthefuckever house charts. Another fine addition to a supremely well-rounded lineup, Kayliox is an act that is going places, and getting the chance to watch them now, at The Gorge, is something to take advantage of.

Louis Futon

A fan-favorite who explores genres the way every listener wishes every artist would, Louis Futon is a set we won’t miss at Paradiso 2015. Formerly a duo, Louis Futon puts out a bunch of free downloads and has a blend of remixes and originals that are easy to get lost in. Based out of Philadelphia and currently made up of Tyler Minford, Louis Futon toured with Paper Diamond across North America earlier this year. His unique mash of bass house, trap, and more has us excited for what he’ll come up with for Paradiso.

Vanilla Ace

London-based Vanilla Ace has been bringing us his style of bass house, mixing funk, techno, nu disco, and more since breaking out in 2012. Building his reputation by releasing tunes on reputable labels such as Ministry of Sound, Toolroom, MODA, and Blockhead, Vanilla Ace has continued to make strides year-after-year. He was named one of Beatport’s Top 10 best-selling nu disco artists of 2014 and continues to pump out quality tunes. His summer is packed with U.S. tour dates, with a show at The Whiskey Bar in Portland on June 13th as well. Regardless of when or where, if you get the chance to catch Vanilla Ace this summer, do it.

Wave Racer

Releasing his first two tunes, Rock U Tonite and Stoopid, in May of 2013, Australian producer Wave Racer has joined the ranks of Aussies making their name in EDM. He’s described his live show as “very energetic, very danceable, and upbeat. Y’know, stuff people want to hear loud and dance to”, and we couldn’t be happier about his way of doing things. We were treated to a taste of what he’s capable of at the Showbox SoDo last October when he performed alongside Chromeo, but now, we have him at The Gorge. Another artist who’s coming to the Northwest’s premier venue in the prime of their rise, Wave Racer isn’t a set that we’ll be missing this summer.
