Paradiso Stilt-Walker Injured Performing At Festival, Here’s How To Help

We wrote before Paradiso about the wonders of Super Geek League’s visually pleasing performances, sadly one of those performers was injured. This has been one of the safest Paradiso festivals on record, but sadly there were still some injuries. One such unfortunate injury was Stephen Hues of Stilt Circus.  He collided with a festival-goer and fell down resulting in some very nasty injuries to his hand that required extensive surgery. On top of the mounting medical bills he will be out of work for at least three months. The dance music community is an amazing community and this is our chance to give back to one of the people who made the festival such a visually pleasing experience. This accident serves as a reminder to all festival attendees to make sure you are aware of not only yourself but those around you.

Whether you can give a dollar or several please give what you can to help Stephen recover both physically and financially. Donations can be sent via Paypal to StephenHues@hotmail.com and anything you can give is greatly appreciated. Dance Music Northwest cares greatly for our community and our team is compiling funds to donate as well. We wish Stephen a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him performing again soon.

Lizzy has been raving since the wee age of 14 after being grounded for a month for having rave fliers in her bag. Like her other love, snowboarding, what was supposed to be "a phase" has become an essential part of her life and she is excited to see a new generation developing the same love.
