Oregon has made it on the map! We are getting our very own version of Bass Coast. Imagine a place where you can escape from the daily grind and experience the power of the Solar Eclipse, with attendees that express respect and a mutual love of discovery, and that is what we’re getting. The event is called Oregon Eclipse, and will take place August 17-23, 2017.
This collaborative festival brings music, art, healing and more on a ranch over 55,000 acres large. Summit Prairie in the Ochoco National Park will be the destination spot, which includes flat campgrounds, forested areas, and a 52-acre lake.
Many festivals are coming together to create an amazing experience for everyone involved. The festivals collaborating are Bass Coast Festival (Canada), Envision Festival (Costa Rica), Ometeotl (Mexico), Origin (South Africa), Noisily (UK), Rainbow Serpent (Australia), Re:Birth (Japan), Symbiosis (California) and Universo Paralello (Brazil). Just think of the energy as many different people come together to create an open place for, love, music, art, and movement. Allowing people to learn and grow in a safe setting, with no distractions from the outside world.
What we know so far is there will be 7 stages, and camping and parking passes need to be purchased (except for bicycles and motorcycles). There will be buses coming from Portland, Bend and Redmond. These tickets need to be purchased prior and are expected to sell out.
If you want to add to the festival and get involved, there are many ways. You can play music, do live painting, or create art. Aerialists, stilt walkers, stand up, and more are welcome to share their talent. This is the perfect atmosphere for enlightening like minds and presenting your ideas.
There is nothing like the spectacular phenomena of a Total Solar Eclipse. One part beautiful, one part mystical, and one part mathematical, a Total Solar Eclipse is an experience that inspires the mind, body, and spirit and demonstrates the elegant nature of our cosmos.
This is an exciting new collaborative festival that Oregon is welcoming with open arms. Make sure to head over to their website to learn more. “Super-Duper Early Bird” tickets are already on sale and end TODAY (November 11). Make sure to keep up-to-date on all new information released about this new adventure!
