7 Essential Items To Bring To Paradiso Festival

Paradiso Festival is less than 2 weeks away and we at Dance Music Northwest want to make sure you have the time of your life. To help you prepare for one epic weekend at The Gorge Amphitheatre we’ve compiled a list of essential items to bring with you.

1) Brita Filter Water Bottle

We’ve all been in the situation where you’re scrambling to find water at a music festival, it’s not fun. Sometimes you lose cash to buy new water bottles or you can’t find a good source of water that you trust. This is a great solution to both of those problems. The brita filter water bottle. Simple, refillable and affordable.

You can find them at Target in pairs for $17 – click here for more infromation.

2) Sunscreen

Sunscreen is definitely a necessity. Whether you think it’s cool to get a tan or not, 2 full days in the sun at the beautiful Gorge Amphitheatre without skin protection can turn you into the guy below. Don’t be that guy.

You can get a $5 bottle of Coppertone sunscreen at all grocery stores.

3) Hand Sanitizer

Half way through the day you visit the rest room area and by then… it’s a mess. There’s no more soap, the sinks don’t work, there’s no paper towels, there’s sh** everywhere. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with that and buy yourself a small travel sized bottle of hand sanitizer.

You can purchase a travel sized bottle of Purell hand sanitizer at any grocery store for $1-$3.

4) Water Misting Fan

This may or may not be important to some people, but it’s definitely on our list. When you’re in the middle of a crowd, the sun is beating on you, it’s 100 degrees, you’re looking around for your escape route to shade but you don’t want to leave because your favorite artist is coming up next… this nifty device could definitely help you out!

Not only will a water misting fan cool you down, it’s also a convenient way to remove any unwanted (and unnecessary) sweat that you could potentially pass off on others. PLUS it’s refreshing for those around you!

Be the cool kid in the crowd and pick one of these water misting fans up at most stores for $10-15$ (or less).

5) Ear Plugs

We’re all amped up for Paradiso. This is one item on our list that’s a MUST bring. Everyone’s excited to see all of their favorite artists on beautiful stages with BIG sound, but it’s not worth losing a chunk of your hearing short term or even long term.

Pick up a cheap pair of ear plugs at most grocery stores for $3-$5.

6) Cash, ID Card & Tickets

I’m sure most of us have forgotten our wallets or even tickets when attending an event at some point in time. Don’t make the long drive without your ID, concert tickets and cash. Double check and/or event triple check!

We suggest that you bring enough cash to survive for the weekend. Leave anything you DON’T need at home.

7) Your Smile

USC Events, Live Nation and us at Dance Music Northwest want everyone to have as much fun as possible! So with that being said, bring your good vibes and smiles! Prepare yourself for one of the most amazing weekends of your life at Paradiso Festival!

For more information on what you’re allowed to bring and not bring to Paradiso Festival please visit the official USC rules list here.

USC have also compiled a list of things they recommend you bring to the festival, you can view that list here.
