Motion Notion Now Offering Glamping Packages for 2017

Festival season has officially arrived here in the Pacific Northwest, and so has the stress involved with packing for your favorite events. Whether it’s what clothes to wear or making sure you’re prepared for a few days of camping. It’s hard to shake the feeling of wondering if you’ve got everything you need. Thankfully, several festivals have recognized the hassles associated with traveling with all your gear and are offering a way to help relieve some of that stress. Joining that list, Motion Notion is proud to introduce their glamping packages for 2017 as they return to Golden, British Columbia for their 18th year.

Most festivals take place in beautiful locations, surrounded by mountains, lakes, and plenty of trees. This natural beauty, however, comes with a cost; usually in the form of long road trips and flights that sometimes limit what you’re able to bring along. Even after you arrive you’ll still need to worry about things like finding a place to camp, setting up your tent, and getting settled in. This year Motion Notion aims to help eliminate the worries of setting up camp by offering the option to have everything set up before you even arrive on site.

Glamping packages for Motion Notion 2017 go for just under $550CAD (Roughly $400US) after taxes and include the following.

[well]

  • (1) 6 person tent for 2 for LOTS of room, set up and ready for your arrival in a reserved, quiet location
  • Air mattress and bedding for 2
  • (4) Shower Passes (Good for 2 showers each person all weekend)
  • (2) Posh Potty Passes (Access to unlimited use of Motion Notions Posh Potty facilities with running water, flushing toilets, plenty of soap, TP and guaranteed to be clean all weekend…we hear it’s a game changer)
  • Motion Notion Swag Pack (2 flashlights, 2 water bottles & tote)
  • Access to VIP Lounge (2 different locations offering a quiet place to relax, hang out and catch some shade)

While you’ll still need to pick up a festival ticket, the MoNo Glamping package has some serious appeal, especially to those making the trek from farther away. We went ahead and compared a few other “glamping” packages from other festivals and have to say Motion Notion surely stacks up to their competition. The added value of shower access and 24/7 use of REAL toilets alone are worth their weight in festival gold. Music festivals are marathons so any additional luxuries to help conserve energy and keep you dancing are always welcomed. Glamping is certainly not for everyone, but those who’ve used things like Shambhalodging in the past will tell you it’s been a serious upgrade to their experience.

If you prefer a more rustic or original festival experience Motion Notion will still have you covered. Tickets for this year’s festival are still available and not only include camping, but one of their best musical lineups to date. We’ve been hearing the word about MoNo passed around from our friends in the great white north and look forward to experiencing this one first hand this year. As Canada’s longest running psytrance and bass music festival, Motion Notion has all the makings of a memorable festival weekend.

We can’t help but be a little excited for all that’s in store for us at this year’s Motion Notion and look forward to making memories of our own. Be sure to stay tuned for more MoNo coverage as we draw closer to August. And as always be sure to follow us on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram for all the latest music and news from the PNW!
