Lucky 2016 Will be in Tacoma, Book Your Hotel!

With Resolution behind us, it’s time to start planing for the next massive! USC Events has officially announced Lucky 2016 for the evening of March 12 at the Tacoma Dome. We don’t know much more than that, but more info on tickets and lineup are promised soon. As always, the event will be 18+ to enter, 21+ to drink.

We know, some of you aren’t pleased by the location. There seemed to be mixed reviews of FreakNight when it was hosted there, but aside from the line to get in the second night we had a good time. One thing that made all the difference for us that weekend was having a hotel *really* close to the event!

If you’re planning on attending we urge you to start making arrangements for a place to sleep nearby (at a friend’s house or a hotel) so that you can be as safe as possible. Even if you aren’t planning on drinking or participating in “extracurricular activities” you never know what they people around you have done, and when those people are driving cars it’s safer to stay off the road.

Here is a list of hotels by the Tacoma Dome, listed in order of distance. Some of us stayed at the Holiday Inn Express that’s .61 miles away and had a great experience. If you book now you may be able to land a room at the Best Western Plus that’s only .17 miles away! Expedia offers free cancellation on most rooms until a few days before the event, so why not secure your spot at a hotel? It’s free to change your mind later.

Additionally, USC Events has announced official hotel, shuttle, and ticket packages for the trip to Tacoma, offering festival attendees even more options for awesome stay experiences–that are showrunner approved!
